“The Money Report” in the Detroit Free Press April 14, 2003 Personal Finance Program for seniors A metro Detroit television program dedicated to personal finance for people older than 60 is to debut at 9:00 a.m. April 24 on WADL-TV (Channel 38). Dan Casey, president of SeniorPlus Inc. and an expert in financial planning for seniors, will produce and host “Senior Finances”. The program is designed to educate viewers about planning for retirement, such as how to get the most out of investments and how to avoid costly common mistakes. After the April 24 debut, the program will air monthly. The second show is to air May 22. Subsequent shows are to be announced later. The April 24 program will take an in-depth look at stocks vs. mutual funds in building a portfolio for retirees. The May 22 show will focus on long-term care insurance. |
